Dr. Aritra Pal is a Director, Protein Engineering at Ankyra where he is responsible for the design, optimization, and development of therapeutic proteins across Ankyra’s anchored platform. Aritra has led cross functional discovery teams at many small biotechnology companies. Most recently, he was the Head of Discovery at Flagship Pioneering, and he previously led the Discovery efforts at Dianthus Therapeutics. Dr. Pal earned his PhD in biochemistry from Georg-August University of Goettingen in Germany. He earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in biophysics at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India.
